    ...so I get home, and check the video file that has been encoding for the last 10 hours on my computer....

    .....and discover I set the bitrate control wrong. So instead of a glorious 8 Mbps, I have 1.14 Mbps. Totally unuseable. Oh well, tahts the way the elephant farts.

    10 hours...... the speed difference between a 3.0 and a 2.4 is astronomical. Never would have thought it was that much.

    I've not done a 10 hour encode since my 2200+. 10 hours is a long time.
