Woman Charged With Having Sex With 8-Year-Old 'Boyfriend'

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A woman faces charges of having a sexual relationship with an 8-year-old boy whom investigators said she considers her boyfriend.

Tammy Imre, 29, was arrested Friday and charged with sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. A judge set bond at $250,000 Monday.

Police began investigating in September after the boy's mother discovered a letter Imre had written him, in which she tells the boy she doesn't "want anyone but you."

She continued: "Now tomorrow it's supposed to rain, you can come over we can (you know what)."

Police said the boy, the playmate of Imre's 7-year-old daughter, initially denied doing anything with Imre because he feared getting into trouble. He later admitted having sexual relations with her.

Police said Imre told investigators she plans to marry the boy someday.

If convicted, Imre could serve more than 20 years in prison. A trial date has not been set.

Police said when they confronted Imre she readily admitted she had sexual relations with the boy. "I can't give a number, but it was a lot," she said of the number of their sexual encounters, police said.

Imre's daughter said she saw the boy doing "disgusting" things with her mother, according to police.

Police said the boy initially denied doing anything sexual with Imre because he was worried about getting her in trouble. But later, police said, he admitted having intercourse with her and other sexual behavior.

As a parent too, if I found out my 8 yo. son was being taken advantage of by a grown woman (and there is no "informed" consent at that age), I would make it my life's mission to see that she lived a short and miserable life.

Even the puritans in Salem would have been shocked at how I could inflict torture. I know how to affect a nerve to make it think that's it's receiving just under the max peak of sensitivity and not become destroyed. Thus allowing full pain, without numbness or adaptability of the nerves, to continue for extensive periods of time. Nobody messes with my family. I carry a big gun, but I prefer not to use it unless a specific instance calls for it's use.
