I have the epson stylus r200 and I love the quality of the dvd covers I've printed but I noticed it leaves a small ring around the outer edge maybe 1/8 of an inch or slightly under an 1/8 of an inch. I was just wondering from other people that has this or any other epson that prints to disc , what settings do you use for position in epson print cd? Cause the ones that it comes with leave the small edge around. any ideas?

    hi Nick

I have the Epson R200 and am quite happy with it. If I understand your question correctly, you are not getting complete coverage on your printed discs. With the printer you got a CD with the CD/DVD printing software that you probably installed and are using. On the left side are a number of icons that let you do various things, one of them will let you change the inside and outside diameters of the print area that will be applied to to the disc. You have to play with it a bit to get it exactly right but it at least allows you to best fit the output to the disc. This is important because some discs have a smaller (or larger) hub diameter and you can play with it to get the most coverage allowed. I have some Ritek DVDs that I print on that have the printable area closer to the center hole then some other brands I have tried. This function allows you to adjust the diameters to suit.
    I hope this helps, Cheers.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't after you . . .
