  1. hi.. i just burn a dvd data using nero, actually i was using dvd overburning features in nero with size "4600MB" (i know its not good for my DVD writer i was just testing), and at the end of burn process i got an error message... btw what is the maximum size of DVD data that nero can handle?? cuz my DVD-R said it can burn for 4.7G data, my data is not even reached 4.7G

    i save the log file:

A DVD can hold 4.38GB, not 4.7. The 4.7 the manufacturers proudly splash all over is the size in billions of bytes, but computers use 1024 bytes = 1 kilobyte, so the 4.7Billion Bytes translates to 4.38Gigabytes. You need to shrink your files before they will fit on one DVD

You're yet another victim of marketing hype :P

pido don't get discouraged, we all get burned by manufacturers one time or another. Overburning a DVD is a bad idea, as you found out.

    Nice avatar, though.
