I am having issues when I put a cd or dvd in my drive, my computer freezes up. I am not positive that is the source of the problem, but for this question let's say it is. I checked my specs and up dated my most current driver for my pioneer A04. My specs say the DMA is set at mode 2. I looked at my DMA settings I currently have my computer set st and it says mode 5. Could that make a difference in performance? I am not up on mode settings and what they stand for so I will try to research it further. Any suggestions?
