  1. HI,

    I currently run:

    dvd remake v1.4.6
    dvd shrink v3.2
    dvd x copy - platinum

    I own a sponge bob dvd (season 1 - disc 1)

step 1) i used dvd decrypter rip files
step 2) i used dvd remake to make adjustments according to guide:
step 2a) i blocked out menus after episode 8

What i want to do: i want to record first 8 episodes onto 1 dvd-r and the next 8 episodes into another dvd-r with both discs containing menu to access the episodes.

problem: i noticed that episode 1 & episode 16 are recorded into 1 file and that info was confirmed w/ dvd shrink. How can i separate these two episodes? Do i need to do some reprogramming w/ dvd remake app?

    thanks in advance

    Hello,

Well one way to split the two would be to use dvdshrink in reauthor mode. You select the title then choose the start/stop option. Select all of one episode, rip it, then repeat for the second option.

I think DVDRemake will let you do that. But it's not free.
For a free tool, use Vobblanker, which lets you cut through any title at any point! You'd do that in 2 sessions:
    - Create the first disc by removing all the stuff you want to keep in the 2nd one
    - Create the second disc by removing what you put in the first one.

Vobblanker is very convenient for doing that kind of stuff...

I think silentbuddha wants to keep menus, shrink in reauthor mode won't let you do that...
