Motion Menus... Commercial style

I know how to make menus with animated buttons, and videos in the background... but how would i go about making a menu such that when a button is clicked or selected, it goes through a little scene to get there, kinda like the star wars dvds (only ones i can think of off the top of my head)...

You need to create a transition clip between the two menus. When you press the button, it plays the clip, then loads the next menu. DVD Lab does this pretty easily, and will even create the transition clips for you if you use it's transitions. Any editor can do it though.
