Hi! I have been having a few issues with my new tv tuner. The worst is that sometimes (I estimate about 5% of the time), it captures a tv show in black and white and it sounds like the cable is out (I can barely hear what is being said, because I instead hear a roaring-hissing-staticy noise). However, this is definitely a software problem because it occurs for the entire recording and then the next thing the tv tuner records is fine. This has occured on multiple channels and at multiple times with multiple shows. I have looked for a pattern and I can find none. Any help would be appreciated.
My computer is an HP Media Center pc m490n. I am capturing with an NVIDIA Geforce FX 5600 graphics card and the Windows XP media center software that came with the computer.

the only thing I can think is that they switch broadcast systems?
This use to happen many years ago here, when some channels use both PAL and SECAM.La Linea by Osvaldo Cavandoli
