I want a program that will capture for a preset amount of time and then convert to VCD format in one swoop. In other words, right now I have to capture a show for one hour, then come back and tell it to save a VCD compliant copy after it's captured. Is there a program that I can tell ahead of time to capture then save a copy for VCD so I can let it do it's thing while I sleep, then get up and quickly burn it?
Thanks!

Dazzle's MovieStar (comes with the DVCII) software does this. You can specify the duration of the capture and it will stop automatically when done. No need to convert if you capture directly to a VCD compatible MPEG. Then just start burning as soon as it is done capturing.
