I authored a DVD using DVD-lab. The finished DVD files play fine on the computer (using Daemon Tools virtual drive). However, the audio pops and cracks when played on a DVD player. The audio is from a .wav file.
I thought it might be too high of a bitrate? not sure if that would cause it or not?
If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them, thanks.

Redo it using AC3 or MP2 audio. There's no reason to use PCM anymore, now that compatibility is no longer an issue. PCM is uncompressed too, and takes up a lot of disc space for no perceived benefit
There should be an option screen in your authoring app that lets you select the output audio format.
