The Philips DVDR615 says it encodes audio in Dolby Digital 2.0. Do any other models encode this way? I haven't seen it expressed in those terms on any other model spec sheet I have looked at. Does anyone know if the Magnavox MRV640 does?
Thanks

Hello,
The list found in the dvd writers section (left tabs <---) found THIS
It doesn't show what format the audio records in though. Have you tried www.magnavox.com yet?

Thanks for replying. www.magnavox.com is down right now for a redesign. The spec sheet and manual for this model makes no mention of the way it encodes in reference to Dolby Digital. I was also wondering if anyone knew of any other recorders at all from any other company specifically encoded this way? -
JVC does DD 2/0.
Apex did.
Panasonic does (though it has AC3 flaws often)Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
