    Hi!
    I'm wondering if region-setting only concernes playback of normal DVDs, or does for instance a Region 1 DVD-recorder even create DVDs that are playable only in Region 1 (or region free) DVD-players?

    I don't know of any standalone DVD Recorders that create a DVD with a region code. The resulting DVD should be region free/all region.
