Isn't it a really good price for 8x Taiyo Yuden dvd media?

That's very good, but this week you can get 100 8x TY media at Best Buy (Fujifilm) for $40 ($20 if you can get them to price match with Circuit City's 2 for 1 DVD sale).

They aren't necessarily TY, be careful they are made in Taiwan at the Best Buy where I am.

Update, they do indeed have TY DVD-R discs this week. They matched CC and I got 100 of them for $20, they even let me keep the coupon so I can go back and get more later, awful nice of them. I was in there a week ago looking at Fuji DVDs, because everyone here said they are TY, every spindle I could find said made in Taiwan. Good thing I checked again this week.
