  1. Hi!
Can someone please help me!!! I have video camera, (Panasonic VMR-70); I record a lot of video while I in VN; and to see the tape, I have to finalize the disk (Mini DVD-R 1.4 G) so I can show the movie to my family. Now, I am home, I like to edit the movie (insert the music, cut the part I didn't like...and burn to DVD); the format now is: video_TS.vob, VTS_01_1.VOB (?)..., what I have to do to get the format and the program that I can do the editing? And not to difficult?
I saw many different solution in the forum, I got so confuse, I don't known which one to use.
Please help me, I am really appreciated.

    Thu,

You can do it by copying the .VOB files to your HD and then opening using an editor that directly opens VOB. Edit. Then save as MPEG, author, and burn.

Or you can copy the .VOB to HD, then demux each one using Vobrator. Open the individual video and audio elemental streams in almost any editor, edit, then save as MPEG, author, then burn

  3. rip the dvd to your hard drive using dvddecrypter. Change one of the settings in dvddecrypter to "rip as one big file".

use one of the many editing/authoring packages (my personal favorites are TMPGENC DVD Author and Movie Factory 2) to do the music insertion and other editing.
