    Hello,

I was wondering if there is any program or windows plugin that will allow you to see the time code (of when the video was actually recorded) from a DV AVI file. When I use Ulead Video Studio 8, you can see that information, but I cannot see it from "File>Properties" in windows. Also, I cannot see it in other Video editing programs.

I was hoping to find a program that would display those time/date stamps, so I could know what order to put my captures in.

    Thanks,
    Stobe

    Hi Stobe,

One of the following may do the trick:

    DV Time Stamp
    DVdate
    DV_Datecode
    DV Sub Maker

Hope one of them is what you need...

Thanks Daamon, it looks like one of those should do the trick!

Yup, I grabbed DVDate, and it worked great. It does a lot more than I really need, but I can scroll through a list of AVIs and see the date-taken code.

    Thanks again,
    Stobe
