  1. This is only my second post so a little help would be nice if possible.
I have 2 mpg files which i cut the last 10 seconds off the first disc and the begining 10 seconds off the second disc.I joined them together with womble and i have now 1 mpg file 1.7gb in size and a duration of 1 hour 40 minutes.I put it through svcd2dvd and now the finished ts folder is only 802mb in size and the film only runs for 55 minutes.
If i play the 1 mpg file in media player it runs for the 1 hour 40 minutes.
Can someone please advise what has happened or where have i gone wrong.

    THANKS.

I would recommend that you don't join your files. When you author your 2 files to DVD you can "join" them by having them play one after the other. You should also be able to trim off any overlapping footage at that stage as well.

  4. I have tried what you said in respect of "do not join them" so i put the 2 mpg files into svcd2dvd again and let it do its job but when i play the ts folder in say power dvd you can see quite clearly where the first discs ends and the second discs starts as there is say a rainbow of boxes straight down the middle of the screen for a few seconds. It is so obvious this is where the 2 files join.
You also say i should be able to trim any excess etc in the programe but i can see anywhere where this can be done, please explain.
