I have a mpeg movie which has black bars top and bottom of it... I like to convert it to a "full screen" movie without the black bars. I see in TMPGEnc 2.5 that there is quite a number of video aspect for video files...
What aspect ratio should I use to convert to "full screen"
Thks.

You must use the Clip, under Settings->Advanced. You must also clip the width or it will look stretched.

Your also going to lose resolution so the quality isn't going to be as good. Additionally since the movie is meant to be seen as widescreen when you crop you may crop off parts of the movie that are meant to be seen.
