I just received a shipment from Rima.com for 50 Taiyo Yuden 4.7G white inkjet printable dvd+r's. Other than the packing slip there is no evidence whatsoever on the disc or the dust cover that these are in fact TY's. They appear to be generic discs with no brand label other than some serial numbers.

For those of you out there who've ordered TY's from Rima or anyone else, is this cause for concern? There are some serial numbers on the disc but nothing that tells me, a rookie about this stuff, that they're TY's.

Use DVD IDENTIFIER to see the MEDIA CODE on the discs. It should say YUDEN000T02

The serial number is the authenticiy of TAIYO YUDEN. I've purchased from RIMA.com and many others on this forum site as well. They are reputable and have great customer service.
