  1. I rip the DVD via MacTheRipper and use DVD2One to compress.

However, lately when I try to compress, I always pass the scan mode, but when it is processing, it always gives me a pop up window that says that DVD2One has Unexpectedly Quit.

I can't seem to fix it. Any suggestions? Is my software corrupt?

possibly, have you tried tossing the app and its .plist so that you can "reinstall" it?

  3. Did this problem just start happening recently? Does it happen with all DVDs or just one particular one? If it worked before and now it doesn't, try running a disk repair utility like Norton or Diskwarrior to check the file system. After doing that, try repairing permissions using the Apple Disk Utility. Also, make sure you have enough disk space to do the DVD compression.

  4. It must have been a corrupt file, because when I tried another, it has worked perfectly fine.

I'm going to try and rip that DVD again and see if that works. Hopefully it was just corrupt files.

  6. try cleaning the disc before ripping it. try different methods of ripping it (full disc, movie only). Are you using the latest version of DVD2OneX?

  7. I tried cleaning it, that didn't work.

I just tried doing on movie only mode, but we'll see, I left for work before it finished. Hopefully that will work.

    I'm using version 1.3 of DVD2One

Upgrade to DVD2OneX 1.4, it seems
    to have more stability.

Also, if the disc is a 20th Century Fox release,
full disc is the only way it will copy.
Others beside myself have reported this
in the forum---do a search for FOX, Aliens, Predator,
