Hey Guys,
Is there any way you can "shrink" the screen size of a downloaded AVI/MPEG file?
What I mean is if you download an AVI file, burn it to disc, it comes up on your TV screen at full size of the screen.
What I would LOVE to do is somehow shrink it to a smaller size to be played on the screen, like a widescreen version with 2 black bars at the top, thus shrinking the size of the screen and increasing the picture quality...
Anyone know what I am talking about and know or have done it?
Cheers,
Mark

Most editing programs give you the ability to resize the image (and adding black borders). In TMpegEnc use the "Center (custom size)" option. In VirtualDub use the Resize filter's "Expand frame and letterbox image" setting.
