hi. before you start flaming me, i have read the topics about the av sync issues and i tried about everything i could to prevent av sync issues, but unfortunately i didnt succeed. i did everything according to the manual on the svcd2dvd page. the final dvd vobs were not in sync, but the SVCD01_DVD.mpg file that svcd2dvdmpg did produce (the one with 48khz sound and the patched first header) was. so i retried it all using womble's mpeg2vcr program to fix the source mpgs (which seemed unnecessary to me, because the source files were indeed in sync), but the final dvd vobs were again out of sync. finally i tried to fix the _DVD.mpg with womble mpeg2vcr and according to virtualdub, womble fixed some irregular joins errors in the files. but the mpgs were in sync all the time. even after fixing the _DVD files with womble, the final vobs were out of sync. my guess is that it has to be DVD Movie Factory that screws it up, because the source svcds are high quality dvd rips.

anyone know what could solve this problem? i dont want to join the source mpgs and remux the sound myself as it is described in several other svd2dvd howtos.

thanks in advance
bye. crash
