    Wanted to know some info on this issue. First someone tells me that uncapping cable does something to your modem. Then someone else tells me that all uncapping does it tweak your network settings on your computer to surf at the highest possible speed. My thing is which is it and what is the best uncapping software to use with the comcast cable thats about to go up to 4MBS on tuesday?????

    From what I heard uncapping will get your service terminated.

    thanks.... i finally found some info on it and even though i can get fast speed.... i dont want comcast canceling my service........ AND FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THEY WILL QUICKLY........

    Uncapping your service can also get you sued for theft of service.
