  1. I just got a DVD recorded, and i recorded some stuff. I can take it onto my PC, but it says the MPG file isn't corrent, so i can't edit the video file, so i can reburn it. Is there a progam that i can get to export the video files so that i can edit them, i.e, cut out adverts etc....

    Thanks.

    Hello,

You should be able to use tmpgenc to demultiplex the audio/video into seperate files. Try file-mpeg tools-demultiplex. Load the mpg then double click the video portion - it will save as an .m2v. Then do the same for the audio - it will save as an .mp2. Then you can use the files in other programs.

    It SHOULD work

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  6. When you import DVD video into Tmpgenc DVD Author it creates mpg files that are easy to edit. Tmpgenc DVD author doesn't tell you about these files because it just uses them to let you import DVD video into a new DVD you are creating. Just look in Documents/Tmpgenc DVD and you will find them.
