Got a DVD+R disk from a friend. My DVD burner couldn't read it. I used ISOBUSTER, and was able to see the files but couldn't extract them. Any other options available ? Thanks.

Try reading it via a DVD ROM (I've had better success with ROM drives vs Writers when trying to read DVD's)

It's probably using UDF v2.01 or something, as opposed to DVD-Video's v1.02. ISOBuster can see this, whereas Windows itself can't, because it understands all the various UDF version implementations. It won't allow you to extract until you PAY the SHAREWARE fee.

If you don't want to go that route, get a UDF reader that supports more levels of UDF (AFAIK there are 1.02, 1.50, 2.01, 2.50). Some CD-RW UDF drivers do this (DirectCD? InCD?) also drivers that come with DVD-RAM.

  7. Sounds a little odd but Smartripper and DVD Decrypter should be able to extract files from those type of discs.
