Hello,
If you're doing a video dvd you need to author it so you get a video_ts folder with vob, ifo, and bup files.
The others I'm not familiar with. I've heard of them I just never knew what the differences were.
If you have an mpg or avi file load it into an authoring program like tmpgenc dvd author, make your menus, then burn the completed video_ts folder.
