Hauppauge 250 and beyondTV 3.5 not the combo version

I have a Hauppauge 250, the regular version, not the combo you can get with beyondTV. I was wondering if it is possible to use beyondTV with my version.

I tried the trial software and when it gets to the point of asking for the audio source I get stuck, because the audio is going into the Hauppauge 250 through coax and beyondTV requires it to go through the sound card. So am I out of luck here or am I missing something?
