need ram/rm file codec

i installed some codecs but i cant get the rm/ram files to play. when i use the RMConverter to convert it to vcd it the output video wont play like the ram/rm file. can someone please give me the right codecs

i installed realplayer8 and i can watch the ram file on it, but TMPGENC wont open it. how can i convert the file into vcd format, so i can watch it on my dvd player?

Use goldwave to extract the audio and tmpgenc to encode the video only.

if let say we use goldwave to extract the audio and tmpgenc to encode the video , how do we combine the file in order to burn into DVD/VCD. any software to recommend ?

I just use TMPGEnc for both, I don't split audio and video.
