    I've searched, and can't quite find whut i'm looking for..
    Whuts the differ in DVD - R and DVD + R? which would be best for your dvd movies, i'm sure whichever plays best on your dvd player yes? and anyone into ps2 backup, which is best for that also? Thx =-)

    Not too hard to find, its in the blue "what is" section on the left of this screen.

    + and - r are different methods of manufacturing recordable dvds. - r are more compatible. That's about the only difference. Read the link above for more info

    Hello,

    Can't help you on ps2 - don't have one (XBOX for me ).

    The two formats are produced differently. There is different material in 'em. That's about as much as I really know. I'm sure there are tech docs out there with the chemical differences. That's probably more than what you need to know though.
