Hey,
I just got this today, and I seem to have some problems getting any audio out of it. The TV is an older sharp but it when I had another dvd connected to it the other day everything worked great (except vcd, svcd, etc..). Can anyone suggest what I should do?
Thanks

Well, I got it to work finally, apperantely the cables that came with the player were crap, and so when I put my olds in it worked. Now my next problem is this:
I burned 112301-Spy.Game.TS-CENTROPY, using CDRWIN, with 80min Gigastorage CDR's @ 4x. And when I go to play it on my pioneer dv343, nothing shows up, the time is elapsing,. but no video...I'm currently reading the faq's right now too, havent come across anything _yet_. -
It could be a Pal/NYSC problem
Try switching between the 2 and see if it helps. Also try every combination of Pal/ntsc/rgb/video...can sometimes make a difference -
Hey, thanks, I got it working now!
I appreciate your help.
BTW: the problem was in the way I was burning it. What I did was just burn the cue/bin file with cdrwin which didnt seem to work. So instead I used vcdgear to extract the mpeg file from the cue/bin and then used Nero with the vcd wizard to burn the movie.
