I have a 700MB Divx movie. What do I do with it? I'd like to watch it on my TV's DVD player.
Thanks.
EDIT: It's an XVID file.

buy a divx/xvid dvd player or https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?howtoselect=4;62#4;62

or you could convert the Xvid to MPEG2 using TMPGenc then Auther and Burn a DVD with the resulting file.
If u have any questions on this, consult the guides; it's covered extensively. Look for AVI to DVD conversion....The distance between genius and insanity is measured only by success... -
If my player can play divx do I just burn them onto a DVD as a file with Nero?
-
Just stick it on a CD....its quickest to use NERO EXPRESS>DATA DISK.....job done..........or burn multiple avi's onto a DVD (again as a DATA disk)...IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE
-
I just tried it with Nero Express and I got this error when it tried to burn:
Transcoding of video failed. -
If you are just trying to burn it to a cd or dvd because your player can play the raf files then just copy the file to the disc, do not reencode.

I just realized my player can't play just the files. So, it looks like I need to reencode. However, I have been getting errors with Nero Express and DVDSanta.
