Planning on dressing up this year? If not, what about the kids?

I bought my son a Superman costume. He matches his cousin, who's two days older. My brother's family and my family are probably going out together, so the kiddies will look extra cute, in their matching Superman outfits.

I was going to buy a pirate suit, styled after Captain Jack Sparrow, but it was $50. I'll probably end up going plain jane, unless I come up with a good, cheap idea.

I don't dress up for Halloween but if I did I used to play in a LARP so I could just drag those cloths out and pretend to be (insert random character here)

Actually I used to have this really nice Cavliler hat that cost me $90 then I somehow rolled it up in a tent without realizing it. When my search found it some months later it was crushed and mildewed so I had to trash the hat and the tent... very sad.

  3. I don't bother dressing up - I'm scary enough as it is.

I don't ever do anything special at Halloween anyway.

    How boring.

I haven't dressed up and gone trick-or-treating since my younger son Justin was sick and couldn't go. He was heartbroken that he'd miss out, and not get a haul of candy.

So I made a Ninja costume and went in his place, along with his older brother and his cousin, so he'd at least get the haul. I had a ski mask on so the people couldn't tell how old I was, but because of my size I got a bunch of dirty looks from the people at the houses Justin got his candy though, and that's all I cared about

I've always threatened to hang my work badge around my neck and go as a Nuclear Weapons Lab geek, but I never did

  6. No such thing as Halloween where I'm at.

  7. Used to do Halloween as a kid back in my old old neighbourhood. It used to be one of the only neighbourhoods in the area that actually had everyone doing trick or treating.

When I moved about 10 years ago I stopped doing it because none of the neighbours did it.
