What happened was if I leave my computer idel for a period of time (say 2 hours) then tried to surf the net again, my router would not response (i.e. the green light will not blink, as it would when receiving data). I had tried getting into the router's management software and clicked "rescan" with no luck. Only way was to reboot the computer in order for the router to work again.
Any suggestion on how to fix this problem?
My initial setup:
Sony Visio 1.8Ghz running WinXP Home with SBC DSL.
D-Link AirPlus G DI524 802.11g wireless router;
D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G510 802.11g PCI adapter; &
D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G120 802.11g USB adapter.
Thanks for any info in advance.

Sounds like somehow there's power management built-in and it's going to a power-down standby state, and not waking up. Any power options in the setup for the router?

Good point...I don't know. Will check it tonight when I get home from work.

Capmaster, you were right! I had the router set on 'power save' mode so I changed it to 'continuous power consumption' (or something like that) mode...didn't wait for 2 hours to see if it works again but at least you pointed me to the right direction.
