  2. Change require rencoding. I am not sure if there is loss of integrity if you reencode several times to make adjustments in stages and also whether it is best to retain the original.

Well its basically just an encoder with a focus on several filters. I'm sure there are better quality encoders with better quality filters, but probably not at that price or with the same level of simplicity of use.

  5. I like the idea that two of the filters adjust automatically using intelligence. Tell me any other product that does intelligent filtering ?

Photoshop, premiere, probably any NLE's have such filters. Things like auto levels and auto contrast are common, but in my opinion they don't work that well.

Its a nice all-in-one package for people who don't want to pay for or bother learning to use an NLE.

Exactly. This describes most low-priced consumer software.

  8. I have just used it and i quite like it. But it takes about 4 hours to re-encode each movie. At this rate i will be doing it the rest of the year. You can however use it as a media player with filter settings applied without reencoding. but it is pain to remember what the best settings were for each individual film.

Is there a media player anywhere which will allow you to store a profile file for each film allowing the film to be loaded with the previously made filter settings for that film ?

I checked this program out. You can do the same or better with Virtual Dub and a good set of filters. Both Virtual Dub and the filters are available free.
