It's also at CNN.com and other news websites. Damn, and I was hoping he'd realize his dream of walking again...

    Sad indeed.

Christopher Reeve was a gentleman. He shouldn't have ended up the way he did ...cut down in his prime like that from that freak accident.

    I will miss him

    Bravo Sefy

  11. So, when he went to wherever people go, do you think they gave him a choice? I mean, do you think they let him choose to go back and fight some more, or to stay and walk again? What would you have done?

    Something to ponder.

    Hello,

    Sad...

Seemed like his accident really changed him. He helped push spinal cord research.

Liked him in Superman. Decent actor. Hope that with his passing they can really push the research in that area for others.

He's been in several movies besides the Superman movies. I think I'll make a conscious effort to acquire all his movies. He was a talented actor.

I wondered when the other shoe would drop...

first Janet Leigh, then Dangerfield, and now Reeve.

6-degrees trivia - my cousin was the neurosurgeon who did his spinal fusion after his accident.

One of my older sisters was a Nanny in CT for a while and met Christopher Reeve and got his autograph a few months before his accident. She was in the same nanny association that his children's nanny was hired through. He's forever immortalized as Superman. I heard they were going to make a new Superman movie and has him do a cameo. That would have been great.

I redubbed Superman: The Movie with my own voice. J/K! No I didn't. I redubbed my voice over Jar Jar Binks' in Phantom Menace. Jar Jar sounds dumber than ever while insulting himself and his a**.

I considered it, but thought better of it. Dono about banned, but I'd bet it would earn me a yellow card.
