Image Zoom is great.... (especially for OT)

Allows right mouse button and wheel to zoom in and out of selected image.
    Works great

  6. Here's a couple extensions that I found really great to have:
    1. Foxytunes, lets you control itunes, winamp, wm player, and many others from right in the browser
    https://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=219&vid=706
    2. Another great one is Super DragnGo, which is great because all you have to do to open a link in a new tab is drag it anywhere on the screen and release.

What theme do you use? I use Noia Extreme because of the easy interface and it kinda looks like a mac.

AdBlock is great. There's one that called "Nuke Anything" that lets you arbitrarily (and non-permanently) remove things from the currently displayed page.

I can't remember the name of one other, but it lets you select a plain-text URL and right-click to open it. That's handy for reading mailing list archives on the web.

I use to use that extension alot, but middle clicking does everything I need. Did you know:
-Middle clicking a link opens the link in a new tab.
-Middle clicking a tab closes the tab.
-Double clicking the tab bar opens a new tab.
If you guys check out CNet's Tech News you will notice they are ragging on Internet Explorer with like 4 articles. :P

    thanks for all tips.

I'm using tabs to open all external links now....but if I click on a link that opens in a new tab and then closes it, it returns to the left tab in the tablist. I want it to return to the tab where I clicked on the link. do you understand?? is it possible to change that?

Cookies NOT expiring? Thats kinda strange, if anything sometimes you get to many cookies and it drops a few. Very odd.

Say for example, you click logout on this page and it doesn't expire the cookie? If so I'd goto the firefox forum and see what they have to say about it.

As far as the tabbed browsing extention sadly I upgraded to 1.0PR and the extention isn't listed as compatible yet. Hopefully someone will fix that soon.

Extentions and skins is why I dont update just to update, only when a specific bug has been fixed or feature I want added.

Found some double cookies for some sites, deleted them and it seems to work fine now.

Have you tried any other tab extension? I tried some but they have too few options...like i really want a "close tab->the tab previously selected"-option.

But for the life of me I can't find the option to put the close tab button inside the tab again, thats the problem with so many freaking options.

I'm running 20 extensions the best being TBE, All in One Gestures, Weatherfox, Prefbar, Pref Buttons, External Application Buttons Image Zoomer, Adblock, Foxytunes & Translate. Also have many mycroft extension for the search bar. If they ever redevelop Advance Search Sidebar, i'd certainly grab it too because it's a must have.

    Hope this helps

No worries, Firefox 1.0PR is a buggy release, the final version is expected to be released within the next couple of days.

Thinking of trying Firefox myself. Do I need to remove IE or will they happily co-exist?

PS, Baldrick, cool avatar , I used to watch that all the time when I worked nights
I even meet her once when I worked in the hotel. ( she was on a local chat show, and stayed in the hotel I worked in ).
We'll be right back after these messages from Binford!

Under the Tab menu it's in Preferences, then under Appearances/Tab at the top.
I have to have the close boxes in each tab myself.

    Have fun stormin' the castle!
