Can't seem to play WMV files?

I just formatted my computer and was going through some video clips which played perfectly until I tried the wmv ones. The sound was good but instead of pictures it was all blotchy colours with no definition.

I tried playing them with my normal media player - Jet Audio and Winblows Media Player with no success.

Have the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.13 installed

Any help would be appreciated thanks

download AVIcodec (a cool free tool) found here:

It will tell you if you have the right codecs to play your files and if you dont it will tell you where to download them from.
