    Why?

    I use Adobe Premiere to "capture" and then the resultant AVIs are all there in my folder ready to use on the timeline...

    Using anything else would add time to my process...

    Of course, if you wanted to herald the virtues and delights of using WinDV, why didn't you just add a positive comment in the tool's entry in the "Tools" section...?
