I have been scanning the market for a media player that fits to my requirements and suddenly I found the box I would like to have: AVX-600 from AV Industries.
Please read the spec below. I found the spec at an Italian DVD forum (dated Nov 2003) and I do not know how true it is. But if the player can do what they say in the spec I really would like to have it.
After some intensive days, scanning Internet for information I still have the following fundamental questions:
- AVX-600 – Does it exist? Have you seen it? Where can I buy it? If they had the comment Coming Soon in November 2003 it should have been released a long time ago. The last thread in this forum about AVX-600 is from December last year.
- AV Industries – Do they exist? Do they have a web page? (http://www.avindustries.net is for sale)
- I do not have to be Einstein to understand that AV Industries no longer exist and that AVX-600 never left the design stage but are there anyone on this forum who can give me some details about what happened?
- Do you know and can you recommend any AVAILABLE product with the same specification as AVX-600?
