    I am hoping that there is one ....my son is really wanting his own TV and i dont have the money to get a new one that is compatible with the DVD.

    The next best thing to do if you cant find a way to disable the mv is to buy an adapter that lets you plug the a/v in and rf out to older tvs without the mv activating,radio shack usually have these devices.
