I've been using my ATI Radeon AIW PCI for a while now and was really impressed with the DVD capture quality. However, it is only a 32MB card. I also have a 9700Pro AGP (128MB) which is also awesome.
Does anyone know if there is a way that I can use both cards? (i.e. the 9700 Pro as a display driver and the AIW to capture. I also have a Happague WinTV and a Leadtek TVXP Deluxe, but neither provide the quality or features of the AIW. The Leadtek is OK but the DVD capture quality is poor compared to the AIW. I'm also used to using MMC.
I've thought about creating a dual boot system, but this wouldn't solve the problem of not knowing which card to use as a display.
I've tried putting both in, but can't seem to disable the PCI display card in the device manager. (I think it might be trying to use the 9700 drivers). It also appears to stop my 9700 from working properly. I've checked my BIOS and there is no option to force it to use the AGP as a graphics port.
Has anyone managed to get something like this working, or am I going to have to stump up more cash for a 97(8)00Pro AIW?
