    hey, i need some help, every time i go to run Ad-Aware SE, about 1 min through, my pc says something happened, and will restart in 1 min, can someone please help? thanks

    Sounds like Blaster. If it says an NT RPC error or something like that go into your MS Services and disable RPC services. You don't need them anyway. Then run your AV software to get rid of it.

    It could also be Welchia or Sasser.

  5. restart your computer in safe mode (Press f5 or F8 during dos bootup) and then run the adaware then run AV software.

    That might help

    run spybot search and destroy too.

    If it is blaster or welchia or sasser, then he needs to download the removal tool to clean the entries in the registry.

    Yup Virus all the way. Go get a free copy of AVG or a removal tool and nuke it.
