Need help on some video codecs

hey ppl...
do anyone know any good video codecs to play back
bin, asf, and mpeg files?

some of the mpeg and asf files that i can play jumps alot

if you do pls leave the link and program name here...

you must already have the codecs if you can see the picture -- as to why it "jumps" , get a faster harddrive or system ..

as for bin -- bin is binary file , could be anything ....

and not even just iso images .


a good player is media player classic

i am alreayd using a fast harddisk...
7200 rpm...
the thing is.. i am using windows media player classic..
thats the thing...

am i missing any sort of codec?

you are not missing a codec if you can see the picture ...

but if i install a codec pack...
the picture will run smoothly.....

so that means that i am missing some sort of codec....
but i don't want to install a codec pack..
so i uninstalled it...
