When the Dreamcast was new (2000) I remember downloading a saved game file from booyaka.com for my Resident Evil Code Veronica game.

Since I didn't (and still don't) have a Gameshark device for my DC this save allowed me to cheat- it had unlimited helth, ammo etc.

I found the saved game file online recently, but I can't figure out how to use it.

Originally I downloaded the file directly to my DC. But now I don't have dial-up so I can't get online with the DC.

Does anybody know of any way I can get the save file to my VMU without special tools like a card loader?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You will have to see if you can find the software and drivers for the gameshark program and you might be able to hack a controller up and solder a usb dongle on the end of it

Wait a minute just though if you a lucky enough to have an ethernet adaptor (since they came with 56k modems) there might be a way to transfer it with that (its been a while so I am not for sure)

I saw that the gameshark software used the internet directly so you have to have internet access on your dreamcast in order to load the gameshark cheats.

So you will have to find the disk somewhere I saw that bresoftware.com has them

They have an ethernet adaptor for it you have to probably look on ebay or try lik-sang.com and use your broadband connection

    Thanks for the replies.

I wanted to be able to do this without spending any money. I'm not interested in spending $ on a system that is out of date that I own maybe 10 games for.

I just thought maybe there was a way to get the save onto the memory card with free software.

I'll probably just pick up the PS2 version of the game and use the PS 2 Gameshark when I buy one.
