  1. I have a couple very old MPG files that are not recognized by TMPGEnc or VideoEasy as MPG format. I thought may be these are DAT files, so I was able to convert one of them using VideoEasy. As for the second one, it's not recognized by any tool, but it plays ok under WMP. Is there any tool out there that can analyse this file and get information on it?

If it's an mpeg then avicodec should work.

    Hi namsilat,

MPEGProperties may be of use too...
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
