nero burning rom

hi forum i have just purchased a dual layer dvd burner and i need to know if their is anything i have to do to nero to make it know it is burning to 8.5 gig discs rather than the single layer 4.3 gig discs if anyone can help me i would appeciate it thanks in advance

If your PC senses the DL properly, and Nero shows it in the "Choose Recorder" screen properly, that's all you need to do except going through all the non-wizard tabs and making sure the default settings are the ones you want. Don't forget to uncheck "simulate burn". It's totally unnecessary with modern hard disks that have a decent transfer rate.

After that, you should be ready to burn
