Sony CRX-1611 CD-RW cannot detect as recorder within CDR-WIN

Hi there,

I have the Sony CRX-1611 CD-RW Burner and Nero v5.5.5.1 detects it fine and writes fine also. I am running WinXP PRO.

I Installed CDR-Win another essential of mine and noticed that it is identified as a READER but not a valid WRITER.

I already have the Adaptec ASPI v4.60 (1021) drivers installed.

Is there any assistance someone could provide.
