  1. hi i downloaded a dvd ready folder but its missing ifo files. whaat are ifo files and how can i create them or burn without them?

    If you have only the .VOB files, you could try importing them into TMPGEnc DVD Author, and it will build a fully 'ready' DVD folder for you.. Same thing with .MPG, .M2V, etc.. DVDA should be able to import them into a project. I believe there is a trial version available, should you want to try.

    Otherwise, if you have the .VOB and the .BUP files, you can just copy the .BUP's over into .IFO's of the same name..AFAIK, .BUP's are just backup copies [hence .BUP? ] of the .IFO's.

    you can use IFO to create IFO's though it depends on the source files

    what type of downloaded DVD is it?. Movie only or a full DVD as a full DVD will be harder to create IFO's for

    DVDLab also allows you to drag and drop VOB's into it
