    Hi. For a while every of my written dvds (when played) pauses for 1-2 seconds, and than play well. I have tested with numerous dvd players, and all doing the same. What can be the problem?

    writer teac dv-w50d with latest firmware

    Once you have what you are going to burn on your hard drive, watch it using PowerDVD, WinDVD or IFOEdit. If it doesn't skip, then it is either your burner, media or DVD Player, in no particular order and it could be a combination of any two or three of those.
