Backup problems

I am trying to backup a tv show for my kids (i like them to watch backups so not to trash good purchased disks)

Here is my problem

The disk comprises of 6 episodes on 2 disks (3 a disk)

I normally use dvd shrink and can easily rip the first 2 eps onto a disk without too much compression. how can i take the 3rd episode off one disk and the first off the 2nd disk. and merge them together into a playable dvd.

I could esisly do the following but it is a waste of disks.

disk 1 - 2 eps
disk 2 - 1 eps
disk 3 - 1 eps
disk 4 - 2 eps

as you can see that is a waste of disks
I would like to get

disk 1 - 2 eps
disk 2 - 2 eps
disk 3 - 2 eps

You can use the Reauthor function of DVDShrink but you'll lose the original menus
Look to the left under guides and search for DVDShrink

I know i can do that but the problem i have is that eps 3 and 4 are on two seperate dvd's and i want to put them onto one

you can still do it with DVDShrink but you lose menus

Rip the vob files for eps 3 and 4 to your hard drive first.
Then drag and drop them into the DVDShrink pane

I just downloaded the latest DVDshrink 3.2 as my old version would not do it.

however when i try and rip the disk i get a copy protection error any sugestions?

acully i found the problem. it was looking for nero no idea why since i was only ripping unchecked the burn with nero option that was messing with it
