    me uses a 325x288 25fps Pal mpeg
    burned it to a CDRW with the latest release of nero bruning rom (using a LiteOn 24710/32 Burner -> burning speed at 10x)

    playing on my Yamaha S-795 i hear only sound but see NO video

    the DVD player is VCD2.0, CDRW compatibel...so whats wrong ?

    are you in a country that utilizes the PAL standard? if you're in the US/Canada, you should be using the NTSC standard instead of PAL.

    no, i live in austria and we have the PAL standard here

    and no, i don`t bought a pioneer, cause i love the quality and features of my S-795

    hmm, can it be a speed problem while burning ?
    i do it with 10x on CDRW, maybe thats to much for a vcd ?
